The Morane is a challenging boss in King’s Bounty 2. This guide will show you how to beat it easily and quickly, so you can focus on the rest of the game.
The King’s Bounty 2 is a 3D action role-playing game. It was released in 2013 and has been downloaded over 10 million times. In this guide, I will show you how to beat the game easily.
The Morane Trial is the second in The Scryer’s Trial series of missions in King’s Bounty 2, and it’s also the most difficult (with even more challenging trials to follow).
If you’re having difficulty completing this task, I’m here to assist and take you through the whole fight for a quick victory. It’s not too tough, as you’ll see, and you have two options to pick from.
So, without further ado, let’s get down to business and discover how to conquer the Morane trial in Scryer’s series!
1. Option one: (the way I did it first)
The Hollow Giants will be the most difficult task, regardless of which of these two choices you select. This is a very difficult nut to crack, and it should be your primary emphasis.
Here’s how I handled the battle and came out on top – by a hair, but it doesn’t matter in the end:
Move your ghosts in such a manner that they wind up between the Hollow Giants and the Archers while you’re setting up your soldiers. After that, pull all of your remaining soldiers to the left for concentrated assaults.
First, cast Madness on the Hollow Hounds / Void ones, then transport your Ghost between the Hollow Giants and Archers, then assault the latter.
To win a tour, utilize her second talent as soon as feasible. (With the ghosts, concentrate on eliminating the Archers; they’ll be able to hold off the Giants for a time).
IMPORTANT: Wait for the Madness spell to take effect before moving your other soldiers (or attack the single troop in the middle).
Take down the three soldiers on the left with your Ghouls or whatever you call them, while the Ghost keeps the Giants occupied.
Move the Ghost away from the Giants so they start going towards your other soldiers after the three troops have been dealt with. Assault with them, then resurrect the Ghost to help with the attack (you will probably have just 1-2 left though).
During this time, be sure to perform spells: I suggest Disease first, followed by Fracture.
Following this approach, I was able to win the battle on my first attempt, leaving one Ghost and several Ghouls in a stack. It was a close battle, but the winner emerged.
2. The second choice
Another option is to concentrate on taking down the soldiers on the left first, then cast Madness on the Giants early on, allowing them to take out the Archers for you. Even the smallest may cause a lot of agony if left untreated.
Cast the spells in the same order as before (Disease first, then Fracture), making careful to take use of your soldiers’ special attacks to wipe down units quicker.
Allow your Ghosts to get encircled by the enemy, then use their unique scream to block them for a round before taking them out with the rest of the soldiers.
Finally, concentrate on the Giants last (they are sluggish and won’t be able to reach you until the rest of the soldiers have been dealt with).
If the Archers aren’t slain, you’ll have to transport the Ghosts to the location and kill them. Don’t let the Archers survive – they’ll force you to lose the battle!
This approach should also be effective. The first has been personally tested and shown to work; just choose the one that seems most comfortable to you and go for it!

Bringing everything to a close
Morane’s Trial is just the second in the game, and there will be many more tough trials to come. I’ll make sure to get instructions available as soon as possible for each of these battles.
Keep in mind that they aren’t part of the primary objective and may be completed at your leisure.
To put it another way, if you just can’t beat one trial, it may be wise to ignore it for a time and concentrate on other tasks (such as finishing the major quest lines) before returning to it after you’ve gained a greater understanding of the game’s principles.
