On Thursday, Sony will hold a PlayStation Showcase to offer PlayStation 5 owners a sneak look at some of the next-gen console’s planned titles. It’s unknown what titles will be revealed during the event, but one rumor claims that fans of Sucker Punch will be treated to a new chapter of one of the studio’s most popular series.

There’s a chance that a new Infamous game may be revealed at this week’s PlayStation event, according to Xbox Era co-founder and industry insider Nick Baker (shpeshal nick).

“Ok. Please take this with a grain of salt since it’s one of the few things Baker couldn’t confirm. “However, I’m hoping it’s real since I like the series. However, there’s a possibility that Infamous may make a comeback during Sony’s presentation. “I’m crossing my fingers.”

Baker’s tweet may not inspire much confidence, but he isn’t the only one who has said that a new Infamous game is in the works. Infamous 3 is also in the works, according to the Spawncast team, but it won’t be released until 2023 at the earliest.

Infamous is an action-adventure series about a group of people known as Conduits who have the ability to absorb and utilize different abilities such as lightning, fire, smoke, and concrete. Infamous Second Son and its predecessor, Infamous First Light, both published on the PS4 in 2014, were the most recent releases.

Ok. Please take this with a grain of salt since it is one of the things I was unable to verify. But I’m praying it’s true since I like the series. However, there’s a possibility that Infamous may make a comeback during Sony’s presentation. I’m crossing my fingers.
