We had a surprise from Nintendo Direct this morning. This is the last mini in a row: The Partner of the Year Showcase was filled with lots of news, release date updates and more. Lots of games and demos today!

Perhaps most surprisingly, Hitman 3 and Control Ultimate Edition are coming to the Switch as streaming games (the latter coming today). To play these games, you need to have a permanent internet connection. There have been a few such releases in Japan, including Resident Evil 7, but so far we haven’t seen any publisher try it in the United States. Will this trend continue when the next generation of cars hits the market next month? Clearly the switch can’t handle more powerful machines, so this could be a viable alternative, although I admit that this seems to contradict the hybrid nature of the switch. To play these games, you’ll need a permanent broadband WiFi connection, which means you won’t be able to play them on the go in most cases. What is your opinion? Is this something you’d like to see more often in the future? Let us know below.

More Heroes and Heroes 2 has been announced for Switch. In fact, they both come out today on the eshop! The demo for Hyrule Warriors was also released today: An age of disaster! You can play the first chapter and record your progress to report it in the final. HAL is also releasing an online game today called Part Time UFO, in which you have to stack different items with your claw. Sounds like it could be pretty fun.

As planned at this stage, Brave Default II has been delayed until the end of this year. The new turn will take place on the 26th. February 2021, just two weeks after the release of Super Mario 3D World. A Tale of the Seasons will also be released next spring: The pioneers of the town of Olive. Build your farm from scratch on the 23rd. March 2021 will be published! Other games were broadcast live. See below and read the full press release:
