How to recover accidents and gels in Nioh 2
Nioh 2 came out almost a year ago, but only for PS4. There’s finally a PC version and a PS5 version, but we’re not talking about that. We should all know what happens every time a console-exclusive game is remastered on PC. It’s visually enhanced and other things are added. The same thing is happening with Nioh 2 The Complete Edition. The PC version of Nioh 2 did it:
- Install a complete mouse and keyboard
- Joystick compatibility
- Support for 4K Ultra HD
- Compatibility with ultra-wide screens
- Supports HDR and 144Hz monitor
- Equivalent to 60/120 FPS
The only problem is that these remasters are sometimes very difficult. The Nio 2 is no different. Players have already complained about crashes and freezes. In that case, there are methods you can try:
Important: Before continuing with this article, check that your system’s hardware approximately meets the recommended requirements for Nioh 2 The Complete Edition. You don’t need to look for the minimum requirements, as that will only allow you to run the game at 1080p 30fps, which is also the lowest setting. Here are the recommended specifications:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- Operating system: Windows® 10 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7 6700K or higher
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER of hoger, 6 GB VRAM of hoger
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: broadband internet connection
- Disk space: 85 GB available disk space
- Sound card: 16-bit stereo, 48 kHz WAVE file playback capability
Method 1 – Update your graphics drivers
Method #2 – Check files for linkage
Every launcher now offers ways to check game files to repair corrupt files that can cause problems. Here’s how to do this on Steam.
Go to your Steam library > Right-click on Nioh 2 The Complete Edition > Click Properties > Click on the Local Files tab > Select the “Check Game File Integrity” option.
The full edition of Nioh 2 is about 85 GB, which means the process may take some time. Take your time and cancel the process if it takes too long.
Method No. 3 – Exceeding this may result in malfunction and freezing.
Overclocking and freezing songs in Nioh 2 Full editing can certainly be caused by an overclocking application or utility running in the background. Many games have been crashed lately by applications like MSI Afterburner or Zotac Firestorm. Therefore, it is best to be careful and run your graphics card at its default speed.
Method #4 – disable the steam inlet for Nioh 2
I recommend you shut down Steam for the full edition of Nioh 2. Here’s how:
- Initial value
- Go to your library and right-click on Nioh 2 The Complete Edition.
- Select properties
- Select the General tab
- Now set the “Steam for Each Game” input to “Forced Stop”.
- Also uncheck the “Enable steam overlay during play” box.
- Restart Steam
However, if you use a controller, you may experience problems after turning off the steam supply.
Method 5 – Install pending Windows 10 updates
Microsoft releases updates for Windows 10 from time to time, and you may have installed one on your operating system without knowing it. In that case, just check whether or not Windows updates are ready for you. The latest version of Windows 10 is probably one of the most stable I’ve seen in a long time. Therefore, upgrading Windows 10 to the latest version is probably the best solution for now.
Method 6 – Reinstall the full Nioh 2 edition (only if nothing else works)
If none of the above remedies work for you, this is your last resort. The installation of the game keeps going wrong. The file may have become corrupted during the installation process. This may be the reason why Nioh 2 is crashing on you. Therefore, reinstall the game once.
Waiting for KOEI TECMO GAMES patches
If none of the above methods are right for you, rest assured that this is not a problem for you. Bugs are glitches that you can find in any AAA game these days. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game without bugs in my career. So be patient and give the developers some time. I’m pretty sure they will release a patch soon that will fix the problems.
These are basic solutions, and developing guaranteed solutions to specific problems requires extremely thorough testing. I will update this article with even more information.
I suggest you visit the official Steam discussion page for Nioh 2 The Complete Edition. You will find many actors talking about the same topics.
