No Straight Roads Rocks The Switch On June 30 –

Without paying much attention to this upcoming game, I freely admit that I thought No Straight Roads was a racing game! I was never wrong. This track is an action adventure performed stylistically with an incredible rock soundtrack. The newly announced Switch version will include a support mode, as well as support for up to three players in co-op and touch screen mode. Words don’t really do the game justice, so make sure you check out the new trailer below!

Sold and Metronom will bring No Straight Roads on the 30th. June 2020 on Nintendo Switch™ and the Xbox One family of devices, including the Xbox One X, coinciding with the release of the PlayStation®4 game console and PC.

The Nintendo No Straight Roads version of the Switch includes additional features designed to take advantage of the system’s unique functionality, including

  • Exclusive Wizard Mode – Take control of Elliegator together with another local player, a mysterious alligator wizard who can help players in battle by collecting items, transforming accessories and summoning useful power-ups.
  • Three-player cooperative mode – Assist allows up to three local players to play No Straight Roads music together, only on the Nintendo Switch.
  • Support for the Touch Screen – Use the Touch Screen on the Nintendo Switch system to process accessories and retrieve items.
  • One Nintendo Switch Joy-Con™ Controller Play – Play the whole game with one Joy Key-Con™, or give the second key to a friend to play on the couch.

It contains an exclusive double-sided vinyl with tracks from the official soundtrack of the game, a 64 page Art of NSR Artbook, official NSR drumsticks and a funky presentation box.

Directed by Wan Hazmer, chief designer of Final Fantasy XV, and Daim Dziauddin, designer of Street Fighter V, No Straight Roads is an action-adventure game that mixes rhythmic battles with a vibrant and eccentric world and a killer soundtrack.

Fans have been asking for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions of No Straight Roads since day one. That’s why we are incredibly excited to launch the game on these platforms to coincide with the PS4 and PC versions this year in June, according to Sarah Hoeksma, marketing director of Sold Out. We can’t wait for the players to experience the rock star in them with this musical adventure on their platform this summer.

The Nintendo Switch version of No Straight Roads was co-developed by Taiwanese studio NeoBards, who also worked on Onimusha’s Triple Pack Devil May Cryple Pack : The warlords and the inhabitants of the evil resistance. The Xbox One version has been developed in cooperation with the Swedish studio Toadman Interactive, part of the EG7 group.

Pre-order for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in the Epic Game Shop is not available.
