Risk of Rain 2 is one of the most popular indie games on Steam, and a sequel is currently in the works. This week the team behind Risk of Rain have released the first content update for the game, and it comes with a new map. The Sundered Grove is a new map located in the mountains, and it is part of a larger DLC pack called “Risk of Rain: The Return of the Sundered Grove”.

Risk of Rain 2 Patch 1.07 is set to release on June 29, and it will be the first version to add the Sundered Grove map. According to developer Tequila Works, the map will be “the first official map they will release for Risk of Rain 2, and it is a map that will be featured in the final game.” Tequila Works also announced that the map will not be available in the game’s demo, and that it will not be free to play, either.

Ever since Sundered Grove was announced for Risk of Rain 2, fans have been wondering what it would be like in game. Well, the wait is over, as update 1.07 has added the map. The map is a forested area, with a cave that contains a portal to the Hellish Depths, where you can fight the giant boss.

Hopoo Games and the developers responsible have released a major update for Risk of Rain 2 today. We present you all the new features, improvements and bug fixes of the 29th version. June.
