The Best Limit Breaks For Each Character, Ranked –

The Limit Break system in Final Fantasy XIV recently received a major overhaul. The new mechanic is called  “Unison Raids”.  Unison Raids are an expanded version of Limit Breaks that can be done with a full party of up to six players. They are the latest in a long line of new systems designed to shake up the gameplay of Final Fantasy XIV. I personally think this is a great addition, and I was pretty excited to try out the new system.

With the new Mario Party: Star Rush game releasing tomorrow, we have put together a list of the best limit breaks for each character. We ranked them from most powerful to least powerful, based on their unique ability to provide a character with more mobility while extremely limiting the opponent.

In the game of Pokémon, it is possible to get a hold of up to four different Pokémon at the same time. These Pokémon are called limit breaks, and they can be used once per battle to deal devastating damage to the opponent. It is important to know when and how to use a limit break since it can make or break a match, but it is also important to know when it is appropriate to use them.

In combat, Final Fantasy VIII, like its predecessors and successors, employs a Limit Break system. When characters’ backs are against the wall, this enables them to unleash devastating strikes.

Each playable character, as in the previous games in the series, has their own set of limitations.

They have a lot more diversity in Final Fantasy VIII.

Everyone contributes something to the table, from Blue Magic to gunshots.

What, on the other hand, is more valuable in terms of your time? Let’s take a look at each character and see which limit breakers in Final Fantasy VII are worth utilizing.

Selphie Tilmitt – No. 6

When Selphie reaches her limit, a window appears, offering the player the choice of casting a spell or rolling again for a different option.

This may be any of the game’s spells, but which ones you receive and how often they appear when you roll is determined by how much danger Selphie is presently in.

There are also Slot-specific spells, which are where the actual value of the limit breach is found.

Full Cure and Wall appear often and perform as expected.

Her other two one-of-a-kind spells are much less common.

Rapture has a chance to defeat an opponent immediately, whereas The End simply ends the fight in your favor, no questions asked, and works on all enemies (including super bosses).

Unfortunately, you won’t see much of the final two, if at all.

You’ll spend a lot of time with Slot rolling and rerolling for what you want, which is a risk in the real sense of the word.

There is a great deal to be gained.

However, there is a lot to lose.

5. Duel – Zell Dincht

To perform different melee assaults in Duel, the player must use basic button combinations. You must, however, act quickly since you are on a time restriction!

The length of time you have varies depending on how much danger Zell is in, ranging from four seconds to twelve.

You’ll be able to unleash a deadly finishing move if you execute enough strikes (which can be learned by finding Combat King magazines).

While Zell is unable to exceed the damage limit, the sheer number of strikes that may be given more than compensates.

The drawback is that Zell takes a lot of practice to reach high damage levels.

You’ll need to know how to get to the finishing techniques, as well as the input for each attack and what leads into what.

Zell’s damage output potential is very great, but the expertise needed to get there may be something that many players are unwilling to pursue.

4. Rinoa Heartilly – Angel Wing and Combine

Rinoa Angel Wing Limit Break / FF8 HD

Rinoa has the distinction of being the only member of the party with two separate limit breaches.

Both are startlingly distinct and serve quite different functions.

And, to add to the intrigue, she doesn’t get her second limit break until the very end of the game.

Combine is her first limit breach.

With it, Rinoa’s faithful canine Angelo joins her, allowing her to perform a range of techniques that both inflict damage and boost the group.

Finding the appropriate Pet Pals magazine, selecting the skill from the menu, and wandering about until it is learned is all it takes to acquire new talents.

Only teach Angelo what you want him to use as a ruse to get him to do what you want (and eventually break the mechanism).

If you wait until the end of the game and just teach him Wishing Star, Rinoa’s break will be triggered almost entirely by Wishing Star.

Angel Wing is Rinoa’s other limit breach.

She’ll fall into an uncontrolled rage and cast spells from her inventory at four times their normal strength without using them.

This mode is very situational, thus your results may differ. Although, if used properly, it has the potential to do a great deal of harm.

3. Shot by Irvine Kinneas

Irvine using Shot Limit Break in FF8 HD

Irvine is a straightforward individual.

He has a gun, and he intends to use it.

It’s also what his limit breach is about.

Choose an ammunition type, fire on the opponent, and bask in your glory.

There are eight distinct kinds of ammo to choose from, ranging from elemental to high-powered ammunition.

To get as many shots as possible before time runs out, press the right shoulder button as quickly as you can.

Yes, it is the extent of his limit violation, but it has the potential to do a lot of harm.

When facing an opponent with Vit-0 condition, a powerful Irvine with a decent weapon may utilize Fast Ammo to deliver well over 100,000 points of damage in a single break.

Irvine will take some time to build up his strength, but once he is, he may easily be a top damage dealer.

Quistis Trepe – Blue Magic is number two on the list.

Another example of simplicity is Quistis’ limit breach.

She learns blue magic spells from things like a Malboro Tentacle’s Bad Breath.

There are a wide range of spells available, ranging from simple harm to powerful party benefits.

Might Guard and White Wind are very useful.

Although offensive spells like as Laser Eye, Ray-Bomb, and Degenerator continue to do significant damage throughout the game.

Quistis also gains Shockwave Pulsar, one of the few abilities capable of doing more than 9999 damage.

This alone makes her a formidable opponent – but the sheer usefulness of her Blue Magic elevates her to one of the game’s finest characters.

Renzokuken – Squall Leonhart

Squall using Limit Break in FF8 HD

Our main guy Squall is our number one boy for limit breaches, which should come as no surprise to anybody.

His Renzokuken break entails pressing the trigger on his gunblade at the proper moment (as indicated by the gauge) and watching the damage pile up.

Squall will perform a strong finishing technique after completing a Renzokuken at random.

These are obtained by upgrading his gunblades at weapons stores and do great damage.

The greatest of these finishing techniques are performed with his ultimate weapon, Lion Heart, which bears the same name.

Lion Heart, a direct successor to Omnislash, strikes seventeen times with tremendous power.

With even a mediocre strength junction, Squall may begin striking for 9999 considerably more easily.

This implies that a complete Lion Heart break may deal about 250,000 points of damage to a single target in one or two rounds.
