The list of best Sona skins has been dominated by the same four champions in the past year. The other two skins are not even top ten material, and the champion who has the best Sona skin is a good old Australian support. But the author of this list has done it again. Sona is one of those champions who not only can play as a support but also as a top lane champion. In this list we have plenty of skins that are worth checking out.

There are a lot of Sona skins out there. And it can be hard to find the best ones. This Sona skin guide will help you find the best Sona skins in the League of Legends store.

The recently released League of Legends Sona skin is one of the most popular Sona skins to date. But which one is the best? For a complete list of the best Sona skins, check out our article on the best League of Legends skins.

It’s been claimed that 9 out of 10 gaming buddy groups break apart over the never-ending debate about who will provide the support.

For only $5 a month, you can help these groups of friends connect with an experienced Sona main and relieve up to 90% of League Fatigue.

Apart from the jokes, Sona is a fantastic support with some equally fantastic skins.

But which are the most effective?

Today, we’ll attempt to answer that question by ranking all of Sona’s skins, taking into consideration both their features and their price tags.

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Released on September 21st, 2010 with a retail price of 975 RP

I’d want to start with Pentakill Sona since it irritates me the most.

When it comes to the basic model, the skin is flawless. Sona is an extremely rock and roll character, with chains dangling from her neck, tattooed arms, and a scary-looking instrument.

Someone at Riot, on the other hand, thought that adding new sound effects was too good to be true.

As a result, we have a badass Sona who seems to be ready to smash your mailbox while playing soft and peaceful music throughout the game.

The mismatch between the excellent skin model and the basic animations was simply too much for me – particularly since this skin was updated just a few years ago!

8. Sona, the Muse

Released on September 21st, 2010 with a retail price of 975 RP

The release skins are clearly not my favorite.

Thematically, Muse Sona makes a lot of sense, since she has always exuded seductive goddess vibes.

And I believe this skin did a good job of bringing Sona into this category. It all gives off strong Ancient Greece feelings, with wavy blue hair, a white clothing, and a golden harp-looking instrument.

I really appreciate the little touches that have been added to her outfit.

Most of its contemporaries, however, outperform this skin simply because they all include additional animations or auditory cues in addition to the basic model alteration.

So, it’s a good skin, but it’s a little behind the times.

7. Sona’s Silent Night

Silent Night Sona skin splashRiot Games is responsible for this image.

Released on December 10th, 2010 with a cost of 520 RP

This skin is very cute.

It depicts Sona in a festive outfit, complete with a crimson hood and Christmas decorations dangling from her instrument.

Yes, I shall continue to refer to it as “her instrument” rather than the actual term.

The basic model update already provides excellent value for just 520 RP. However, there are several new emotes included with the skin.

Riot clearly wanted to emphasize the Christmas motif, so they included emotes for Silent Night Sona, in which she plays the first few notes of famous Christmas tunes.

It’s a great touch, and it’s a wonderful skin to look at.

Odyssey Sona, No. 6

Date of Publication: September 12th, 2018 1350 RP is the price.

I have a lot of positive things to say about it, but I do have one major gripe.

First, let’s get the important things out of the way.

Simply said, the splash art is a ten out of ten. And every single one of the animations is as amazing.

I really enjoy how the ability animations are delicate, with twirling stars and soft geometric forms protecting your friends.

Riot nailed those two elements, in my opinion.

The in-game model, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. It just seems clumsy, particularly in comparison to the sleek splash art.

Maybe it’s the shoulder guards, but Sona’s model lacks the grace and floatiness that made her so distinctive.

5. Sona Guqin

On the 10th of January, 2012, the film was released. The price is 975 RP.

Despite the fact that I don’t believe this is the finest 975 RP skin in Sona’s collection, it still provides incredible value.

While adhering to the eastern concept, the in-game model has been designed to seem as elegant and dignified as humanly feasible. And I believe Riot has nailed it.

I really appreciate how they created her instrument: it’s unique enough to draw you in, but not so different that you lose track of the original.

The sound effects, on the other hand, are what truly make me enjoy this skin.

I’m not talking about the emotes.

While you’re jogging about, this skin will play the most relaxing music. And just by listening to the song, the 975 RP seems more than fair.

4. Sona Arcade

Arcade Sona skin splash artRiot Games is responsible for this image.

The film was released on August 31st, 2012. 1350 RP is the price.

Now that we’ve moved on to what I consider to be “the main four” Sona skins, bear in mind that they’re all quite similar in terms of coolness and value.

Arcade Sona is one of my favorite games. She does, however, have one deadly weakness, which propels her to fourth place on my list.

And it’s because there isn’t a decent background animation.

Given how great all of her other animations are, I simply find it crazy that she doesn’t have a distinct background animation!

Her basic abilities include star auto-attacks, beautiful wavery patterns, and vintage sound effects, and her ult has a fricking DDR layout, which are all fantastic concepts!

Despite this, she is unable to have a nice background animation. It’s really depressing.

3. Sona, my sweetheart

Sweetheart Sona skin splashRiot Games is responsible for this image.

The 11th of February, 2016 was the date of publication. The price is 975 RP.

This is the skin for you if you’re on a tight budget.

It has a very beautiful Valentine’s theme to it, as well as some really amazing animations. Even though it’s cheaper than a particular skin on here, *cough cough*, it has a very nice background animation.

The basic model’s design is quite standard, with plenty of yellows, purples, and reds, as well as enough of hearts to go around.

The animations are all extremely smooth, and they all include the love symbol in some manner without ever seeming forced.

Even the splash art is of the highest caliber!

This is the skin for you if you don’t want to take up a second mortgage.

2. Sona, the DJ

DJ Sona LoL skin splashRiot Games is responsible for this image.

On the 25th of February, 2015, the film was released. 3250 RP is the price.

If you were there when this skin was originally released, you know how worthy it is of the title of greatest skin.

Although it is one of the most costly skins available, it also includes some fantastic features.

To begin with, it’s like receiving three skins in one. Because you can switch between three distinct forms, each with a slightly different graphic design, ability animations, and music.

And the soundtracks are incredible!

DJ Sona has you covered no matter what mood you’re in, whether it’s quick and aggressive or calm and soothing.

However, I think there is a skin that can compete with DJ Sona while being much less expensive:

Sona, PsyOps

PsyOps Sona skin splashRiot Games is responsible for this image.

The film will be released on September 3rd, 2020. 1820 RP is the price.

PsyOps Sona is intriguing since it, like DJ Sona, includes a metamorphosis. It is not, however, optional.

You begin the game with your arms tied and a helmet on your head, as if you were a prisoner. If you ask me, it’s just pure Elfen Lied energy.

When you reach level six, though, you are free of your shackles, allowing your long white hair to flow freely in the breeze.

This is a fantastic idea, and I believe Riot did an excellent job creating this skin.

I’ve never felt more strong than I do now that I’ve reached level six!

Some of the animations are really fantastic, with the dancing animation being my personal favorite.

I’m sure a lot of Sona fans were upset that they didn’t get the Star Galaxy skin instead. However, I believe it is still well worth a look.
