Our motto of the week is Dojicco, a cute and extremely clumsy female character.
Funny word, huh?
But in a spirit of equality, let us not only look at the ladies, but also at the gentlemen when it comes to this hidden comic art called clumsiness.
So here are my choices for the best anime characters walking around with two left feet.
10. Usagi Tsukino
Anime: The sailor wire
Usagi is a bit primitive when it comes to the art of constantly falling with your head on the sidewalk.
I swear that girl will never be able to move on without bumping into someone. And every ball that flies through the air has at least an 80% chance of hitting them in the face.
But what can you expect? She’s so vibrant and full of life that her legs can’t keep up with her enthusiasm – and neither can her gravity.
And when it comes to whether it is safe for a clumsy person to have superpowers as well, we go to commercials.
9. Orihime Inoue
If you look at Orihima’s résumé, you wouldn’t even think she was as clumsy as she is.
I mean, she knows how to fight effectively, she’s got serious strength and she’s got a lot of experience. And yet she doesn’t know how to chase someone without giving them a loving headbutt.
That fits her personality perfectly, because she is a scatterbrain who fantasises every minute of the day.
8. Zenica Agatsuma
Anime: Demon killer.
The fact is that Zenitsu is having a heart attack or a nervous breakdown at any time, so even the smallest mind will force him to kneel or step back and pray to the Lord.
Whoever it was, even the crow scared him half to death.
But like my previous selection, it still has its glorious moments. In any case, he must always be unconscious in the beginning, but once in the area he can shoot at any enemy with surgical precision.
I mean, he barely knows how to keep a sword conscious.
Speaking of warriors who literally don’t know how to hold a sword, this is darkness.
The problem with her is not so much that she can’t hold a sword, but that she has the precision and purpose of a Stormtrooper.
But even the Stormtroopers look like geniuses, because at least they shoot from a distance. The darkness can’t touch anything directly in front of it, even if that person doesn’t move.
I love her, but she really needs to get her act together.
6. Noel Silva
Anime: black clover
Well, I’ll admit that Noelle improved by not falling flat on her belly in the second half of the series.
However, there are still a few episodes in the first dozen in which she falls off the broom every time something happens to Asta. And she can’t channel her water talks to save her life.
She has the hand-eye coordination of a fish when she’s excited, but at least now she’s able to keep herself busy. As long as she doesn’t think about Asta.
Anime: How clumsy you are, Miss Oueno.
I literally feel like I should just record this for the title.
To be warned: You will be put on different FBI watch lists for this show. Everything revolves around the high school girl Ueno who either keeps perverting with her skirt print…. falls on sharp objects.
Of course, Ueno’s antics are pretty funny sometimes. And the contrast between his constantly excited self and the Tanaka who never shake is a great show.
But seriously, you’re so excited, Miss Ueno.
Anime: Akame go Kill!
Schiele is probably one of the most famous figures whose clumsiness is paramount in his character.
You can trust Sheele with every task in this world, and there is a 100% guarantee that she will drop something, burn something, or lose something in the process.
The only exception is cold-blooded murder. Just give him something sharp and his once trembling hands are now the steady hands of a professional killer.
Frankly, I’m beginning to see a pattern between the anime clumsiness and the murder.
3. Hanako Honda
Anime: Asobi Asobaza
I want to focus on an important scene in this segment: the shoe-throwing contest between the girls and the shogic club.
You really have to admire Hanako’s clumsiness (or gross stupidity) in this scene, because she literally throws her shoe at a 90 degree angle, which makes it practically run off the starting line.
I would also like to congratulate the chairman of the shogic club, because he fell crazy off his bike to ride the maximum distance.
And, of course, she won. But in the process, she paralyzed his entire body. And I swear they both made me laugh more than they should have.
2. Mako Mankanshoku
Anime: Dead, dead, dead.
Do we all agree that Mako is the cutest character there is?
She’s just full of energy. Each of his monologues is like a choreographed acid trip, performed by an entire ensemble.
She is also extremely naive, to the point where she can literally be caught with a stick, a basket and cheese as bait.
Is anyone really surprised that he often falls flat on his face? Fortunately, the gods of Kill the Kill also love Mako. That way, even under the worst conditions, she would still get away with her life.
1. Wendy Marvell
Anime: Fairy tail
Nice fact: Wendy almost walked over the falling debris because she couldn’t follow the cat.
And you’d think she’d only fail by walking on a little uneven ground…. but,oh,my god, wendy has a lot of stories like that.
She’s one of the youngest characters and she lacks confidence. So she’s definitely not the coolest character…. but come on, Wendy, you even fell flat on your face.
I’m glad you’re nice and that our team needed support.
